ABC License Exam Prep Course Recordings

Our ABC Prep Class is only available as a recording package.  We will no longer be offering this course live.

The ABC License Exam is an oral test, given by a Construction Professional chosen by the Exam Board.  Depending on the amount of experience you have will depend on the the level of license you receive; A, B or C.   With A being the highest level.  Your ABC license supersedes your Unrestricted CSL in Boston only.  You must have your Unrestricted CSL to qualify for this exam.

The cost of the class is $300.00. *   The syllabus is as follows (may vary):

Class One:  Use Groups, Types of Construction, Fire Walls, Fire Barriers and Fire Stopping Systems.

Class Two:  Types of Foundation Systems.  A full class will be on this subject.   A majority of the Exam will be focused on Deep Foundations in Construction.

Class Three:  A full hour on application procedures for the exam.  

Class Four:  Egress Systems and Components will be discussed. We will go over common questions that were on previous exams.  Q & A and last minute advice.

* The 2015, 9th edition International Building Code (IBC) book with tabs and MA amendments (780 cmr) are required for this class.  Please use the links below to place an order and have the books shipped to you.

Once payment is received and we know you have your books, we will mail you an application packet and email your class recordings.  You will have four weeks to watch the recordings and then they will expire.  You will be completely ready to apply for your exam when the course is complete and our team will be available for questions by email throughout.

You may be able to find IBC book and tabs cheaper at Amazon or Barnes and Noble.  Just make sure to buy the correct book in soft cover.  The MA amendments are only sold at the Statehouse Bookstore.  Just let us know when you receive them.
